Office refurbishment
Overview

This small office refurbishment focused on creating a professional, efficient workspace within a limited area. The aim was to improve functionality while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic that elevated the overall environment.

The Challenge

To create a professional, efficient workspace within a limited area, balancing practicality with a clean aesthetic. The room had existing free-standing phone booths which disrupted the flow of the space and felt disconnected from the room. With minimal square footage to work with, the challenge was to integrate these bulky elements without sacrificing usable space or visual harmony.

My APPROACH

I designed and built a bespoke cabinet system that enveloped the existing phone booths, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the room. By refreshing their appearance and aligning them with the surrounding finishes, the booths became intentional features rather than standalone obstacles. Throughout the refurbishment, I prioritised smart space-planning, practical detailing, and a clean, modern aesthetic.

OUTCOME

The completed design feels cohesive, functional, and refined. The once-awkward phone booths are now fully integrated and contribute to the overall look of the room. This project demonstrates effective problem-solving and the ability to optimise small spaces.
